Madi, it has been such a joy to get to know you over the course of the past year during the Next Experience. What do you remember thinking and feeling leading up to beginning your journey in this ministry?
I was so excited to see what the Lord had for me in this ministry and I was ready to start! I was also nervous because I didn’t know what to expect, but this experience has been better than I ever expected and God has used this ministry to teach me so many things and has gone way above all of my expectations.
Were there any challenges you met during your year in the Next Experience? How did you overcome them?
Next Experience was definitely a time commitment that I wasn’t used to, but I quickly adjusted to it and every meeting with Next Experience was worth it.
All three of you girls displayed such receptive hearts towards the teachings and tools you were equipped with this past year. How have you been able to apply things you’ve learned?
One of the things that stuck out to me the most was the newfound appreciation I have for the Word of God. Denise gave me such a new perspective in each one of her teachings and learning to dig into scripture has improved my relationship with God significantly.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about applying to participate?
I would say to anyone thinking about applying to participate, that they 100% should do it. Denise and Trisha quickly became role models in my life and people to learn from. Being a part of Next Experience is one of the best decisions I have ever made and I thank God for everything I’ve learned and how much I have grown as a believer and person through this experience.
