Okay- Here is a question for the readers out there who have walked through a divorce. What has your relationship looked like with your in-laws since your divorce? Would love your comments on this. I’m interested to see how the experiences have varied.

My former mother-in-law had passed away about three years prior to my divorce, so that had changed the dynamics. Once my divorce was final I had contact with one of my former sister-in-laws a few times, and still hold her and my other sister-in-law in high regard. They are two beautiful women. But as time went on maintaining those relationships simply didn’t feel congruent with the healing of my heart. However, I know if I saw any one of them today there would be big hugs and deep appreciation for one another.
