Today the house is quiet. The kids have been taken to school and it will be four more days before we see them again. I sit in the bed sick with a sinus infection, but I have walked. This morning I walked the inside of my house. I walked in each one of my children’s room and in my office and Philly’s office. I walked the dining room where we have our Sunday dinners of fried chicken and homemade biscuits. I walked the foyer where we welcome our friends and open our home. I walked in our family room where we cuddle on the couch and where our prayer team meets every week and calls on you for wisdom, direction, healing and peace.

I walked our kitchen where life happens, and homework is done and we hear stories of weeks and troubles and dreams. And where our favorite meals are cooked, and where communion takes place. I walked our play room where I work and spend daily time with you and we watch movies and play ping pong and I prayed.

I know I have been positioned in this home and these lives for a strategic purpose. I know divorce is never your plan, but I know in our brokenness, in the sin that is part of our story, you redeem and fashion and move and work and position.

And that You have a strategy to position me and it took every storm and every attack and every hater to push me to positioning for divine purpose.

Isaiah 30:15 “In quietness and confidence is your strength.”
Father let that be me. Let my quietness and my confidence be my strength. Especially to the hearts of my children.

Father- today as I sit in this bed with my body tired and sick.

I pray for Joy Spring. For Bane and Barbara for provision – for health- for vision.
I pray for Nashville Rescue Mission – for direction and provision
I pray for Mercy Ministries- for Nancy’s heart and her message. For the future of Mercy and for someone to be raised up to lead it when she is gone. I pray you provide for their financial needs and that you give her wisdom on how to care for them.
I pray for Hope House – for the upcoming benefit and that you be in the middle of every detail. Leading it. Anointing it. Lavishing your love on it. Help us know who we are to invite for that final invitation.
I pray for Love Nashville today as we begin the plans for our next initiative. I pray you be in every detail. Leading us to know clearly what you are asking of us. And that you just open women’s hearts. We are grateful for how you love. And grateful for this opportunity and favor you have given. Increase our favor. Give us favor in Casino Royale where we have been yet to go.

Be with the young girl we just met. Bring complete and total surrender to her heart to yours. And let her become all that you created her to become. And break the heart of her mother in complete and total surrender to you as well. Bring healing to that home. And break the deception in the name of Jesus.

Father I pray for our launch event and for this ministry you have entrusted to us. I ask you to be in every detail. Leading as we move forward. Guiding as I work on the video. Guiding as we pull the evening together and begin inviting people.

I pray Father that your anointing rest on that evening. And that every part of that evening be anointed and blessed by you. Every detail.

I pray over these two new books that their impact be exponential.

I pray for our church Father and the leaders of our kids. That they would see their hearts and gravitate to them and know how to speak life into them in their deepest places. We trust you with every piece of them and ask that you be with Pastor Mike as well. Keeping him healthy, protected and full of vision.

Be with our kids today. Keep their hearts protected from any scheme of the enemy and help them be quick discerners of truth in the name of Jesus.
