I have a couple friends who are directionally challenged. If it weren’t for Google Maps, poor things would spend half their lives driving around in circles. One of the things I love most about Jesus is the knowledge that He is my shepherd. The Psalmist wrote, “He leads me beside still waters…” In this demanding life we live where we live perpetually on the move responding to endless emails and juggling endless schedules, wouldn’t it be a comfort to know that in this HUGE question of “Where am I to go next?” we could actually not have to worry about the answer? We could simply follow our Shepherd, our “Good” Shepherd. Well, good news — it is possible. You don’t have to live your life with endless questions. You can just surrender to Jesus, the Good Shepherd.
