What We Believe
We believe that we are all in need of a Savior.
Romans 3:9,23
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Savior. That he was born of a virgin. Came to earth fully God and fully man. Fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament. Was crucified, died, was buried and then rose from the dead. And now lives at the right hand of God and ever lives to make intercession for you and me.
Romans 3:22-24, John 14:6, Matthew 1:18, John 1:1-3, 14, Acts 3:18, Matthew 27:45-28:10, Romans 8:34. John 3:16
We believe that we must confess our sin and believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation and then we will have eternal life with Him.
John 3:16, I John 1:9
We believe that one day Jesus will return and those who are in relationship with Him will enjoy eternal life with Him and those who have not accepted Him as Lord and Savior will spend eternity separated from Him.
I Thessalonians 4:13-17, Revelations 21:6-8
We believe that relationship with Jesus Christ is something that should be lived out daily in our lives through a love relationship with Him. Leading us to a Christian life of maturity, holiness and love.
Ephesians 4:11-14, Matthew 22:37, Romans 6:19
We believe in water baptism – and that it represents the death, burial and resurrection of our old man and that it is the outward testimony of our inward faith in Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:19, Galatians 3:26,27
We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God. That “all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
I Timothy 3:16,17
We believe that there is one God- existing in three persons- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Colossians 2:9, Genesis 1:26
We believe that the Holy Spirit and His gifts are still in operation today through his body.
I Corinthians 12, I Peter 4:10
We believe that God has called us as believers to live in unity, past the walls of denomination, color, and economy as a testament of Jesus and His love and life in us.
John 17:2-23
We believe that we have been commissioned to be people who help bind up the wounds of the brokenhearted, bring liberty to captives, and pour out the comfort that has been poured out on us.
Isaiah 61:1-2, 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
